Mexico Missions
From their February 2013 newsletter

Greetings in Jesus name!

2013 marks 40 years in full time ministry for Robert and Ani with over 35 of those years primarily in Mexico. Our vision has been and still is to know God and make Him known; to go into all the world and make disciples of Jesus Christ, teach and preach the word of God, heal the sick, caste out demons, for the Glory of God and to extend His kingdom.

The past couple of years have been spent preaching at several churches in the U.S., planting new churches in Mexico and traveling throughout the country ministering at the 12+ Cueva de Adulam churches as well as others with which we have affiliation. We also spoke at conferences, including youth, women's, men's and general, where we were invited as guest speakers. Because of the violence in Mexico, we had suspended the short term ministry schools the last few years but because  we frequently receive emails from young people inquiring about the school, we are sensing the Lord leading us to once more facilitate the training program.

For 3 months in the spring of 2012, we spent time in Spain reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Robert traveled, teaching and preaching from as far south as Algeciras and Málaga down by Gibraltar, Sevilla a bit to the west, farther up the west coast to A Coruna on the Atlantic Ocean, then across and up the east coast to Murcia, Alicante, Albacete, across to Madrid in the center, and north to Burgos and Quintanaduenas where we had rented a house from friends who head up several men's and women's rehabilitation centers. Ani traveled and ministered with Robert in the northern regions including Madrid and surrounding areas, east to Logrono and north to Santander on the Bay of Biscay. One of the highlights of our time was ministering at several Gypsy churches, the main one being in Santander. Near the end of our time in Spain we planned a conference of 3 glorious days where brothers and sisters from different parts of  Spain, France, Mexico and the U.S. gathered to spend time in God's presence worshiping together and being fed from His word. Reynaldo and Cecilia Torres, a couple of our first converts in Zacatecas, Mexico who were with us in Spain, are ones sent out from our first church in Zacatecas as missionaries to Goa, India for 6 yrs and then Senegal, Africa for another 6 yrs.  They pastor one of the 4 Cueva de Adulam churches in Zacatecas, and are now planning to move to Spain to plant a church overseas. Once they are settled, our vision is to travel to Spain and establish a 3 month ministry training program which would be hosted by the church in Quintanaduenas. Everywhere that Robert traveled, pastors and leaders expressed the great need to teach and prepare the youth for ministry.

Our eldest daughter Beka with her husband Roberto, pastor the Cueva church in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and our youngest, Robert (Budi) and his wife Diana are the children's pastors. Christie and her husband Carlos are in Cuidad Juarez waiting for his U.S. residence status, as they have been invited by a pastor friend of ours in Houma, Louisiana to co pastor their church and work at their Montessori School. Leah and her husband Mandis have just moved here to Texas from Mexico and hope to soon be working among the large Hispanic population of East Texas, waiting on the Lord for direction on how to minister most effectively. While we are in Texas, we have a weekly home meeting where we have seen God's presence manifest in powerful ways. There has been physical and emotional healing and we have seen lives changed and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for facilitating donations to our ministry, it has been a tremendous blessing to us. We will continue to keep you informed with news of what is going on in Cave of Adullam Ministries and we ask that you continue to pray for the Lord's direction in our lives.

God's richest blessings,

Robert and Ani Duran
